About

Hannah Queenan,
RCC, MEd

Registered Clinical Counsellor

Welcome.

I would love to help you find greater self-compassion, resilience, and freedom in your life.

My work with you emphasizes nervous system regulation. This is done through talk therapy primarily, and occasionally body based therapy. I integrate a lot of self-compassion support, mindfulness, and person-centred talk therapy.

Along with my experience and training in mental health. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature, a teaching degree in education, over 300 hours of speciality yoga training, specific training in Adlerian therapy, trauma-sensitive approaches and attachment theory, as well as a Master of Education in School Counselling. My area of research expertise is in infant neurodevelopment and the impact of early trauma and attachment security on lifelong mental health.

Along with being a counsellor – I am a feminist, mama, teacher, runner, foodie, ocean lover, and type 1 diabetic.

I bring a decade of experience supporting adults, teens, and children in non-profits, clinics, yoga studios, and schools. I am a lifelong learner committed to adding to my skillset and reading new books and research to support my clients.

The only certainty in life is uncertainty. I am here for you through life’s ups and downs.

Let’s connect.
